Turkheimer's name appeared on this blog a few weeks ago in my post Kathryn Paige Harden and the race war manifesto of Nathan Cofnas. I quoted neo-Nazi Emil Kirkegaard expressing appreciation for Turkheimer and Harden as mainstreamers of hereditarianism via behavioral genetics. Although Kirkegaard did express regret that their hereditarianism had not yet made them racists.
While I think Turkheimer's support for aspects of hereditarianism is wrong, I do appreciate him stepping up to oppose race pseudoscience, as he did recently in a talk at UPenn, which was published on YouTube.
