Extremist kook Heather Mac Donald attacks historian David Blight

Heather Mac Donald, promoter of the racist, neo-Nazi "great replacement theory", is so extreme that she attacked the babbling billionaire patron saint of the far-right, Peter Thiel, simply because he is gay:

Ms. Mac Donald emailed some of the same people about news reports that a boyfriend of Mr. Thiel — nominally their ally in the rising “national conservatism” movement — had committed suicide after a confrontation with Mr. Thiel’s husband at a party. Calling the episode “a scandal,” she opined that gay men “are much more prone” to extramarital affairs “on the empirical basis of testosterone unchecked by female modesty.” She added mockingly that a friend had once tried to convince her “how wonderful Thiel’s ‘husband’ was.”

Mac Donald's career is so disreputable, (although I am sure well-remunerated), that her claim to fame these days is writing for the garbage City Journal, which published a defamatory, pseudononymous article attacking a guy who is owed money by racist kook Emil Kirkegaard. City Journal removed the article after it was sued by the target of its smear campaign, and eventually settled.

That article was almost certainly written on behalf of - or even by - Kirkegaard, who is at the center of an international racist/fascist network funded by plutocrats, a network that includes the Neo-Nazi magazine Aporia.

Mac Donald is such a racist she appeared on the Aporia podcast.

So it is no surprise that Mac Donald also showed up recently in the garbage, racist Quillette, attacking Frederick Douglass biographer David Blight for his NYTimes editorial.

Pinkerite is a big fan of Blight.

Mac Donald writes:

...it is delusional to call Trump’s voters “neofascists.” They do not seek the end of democracy, they just want their voice back...

Then at the end of her screed writes:

Blight’s op-ed epitomises the cocooned state of contemporary academia. Universities should face a choice: Forgo the billions of taxpayer dollars that underwrite their bloated tuitions, politicised bureaucracies, and one-sided intellectual orthodoxies or accept strict conditions of colourblindness, admissions transparency, and political neutrality in every aspect of their operations. The Yale faculty and its counterparts throughout the country will undoubtedly feel under siege from unsophisticated “culture warriors,” but it is those who believe in preserving Western culture who now need to stand up and take the universities back.

As Mac Donald's ally Jay Greene of the Heritage Foundation explains:

Taxpayers should not pay for building the research infrastructure at wealthy universities that already have sufficient private funds for that purpose.

It's unlikely that preventing universities from receiving research money is a top priority for most Trump voters, and even Greene admits that wealthy universities can get along without those taxpayer dollars.

So simply cutting off tax money for research will not be enough to make Yale and esteemed scholars like David Blight bow down before Heather Mac Donald's white supremacist agenda. And I'm sure Mac Donald knows that.

The only way Mac Donald's dream of total domination of American universities can be achieved would be via the Trump administration. That is how the fascist portion of Trump's voting block would "get their voice back." By suppressing universities, Nazi-style

And Mac Donald will certainly not shed a single tear if that happens.

Steven Pinker thinks Mac Donald is brilliant. Because of course he does.

Delusional religious fanatic Peter Thiel is still delusional

As noted by SFGate:

The PayPal billionaire and longtime California resident is back in the news this week, joining media provocateur Bari Weiss’s “Honestly” podcast for its Nov. 14 episode. About 10 minutes into the two-hour conversation, Thiel, an early supporter of Donald Trump, let fly a truly bizarre metaphor.

He’d been talking about the “intellectual straightjacket” that he sees the Democratic Party forcing people into. He said there’s no room for “individual thought” on the left — not mentioning Trump’s sidelining of the critics within his party — before explaining his point with a “Star Wars” reference.

"Provocateur" is a funny way to describe Weiss. I think "handmaiden to fascist plutocrats" is more accurate.

I have no doubt that Thiel has funded Weiss's "Free Press" project in an effort to add to the right-wing media network led for so long by Rupert Murdoch's Fox News.

To get an idea of how truly weird and semi-coherent and religion-fanatical Thiel is, check out my transcript of his speech from a few years ago, given to the right-wing whine festival, known as the "Stanford Academic Freedom Conference." It was an event where hardcore racists like Amy Wax could go to complain that they get pushback when they publicly attack non-white people.

Thiel himself has used Star Wars references before, to express his own extreme racism:

These were Thiel’s people, and he spoke at the closed-press event with a lot less nuance than he had in our interviews. His after-dinner remarks were full of easy applause lines and in-jokes mocking the left. Universities had become intellectual wastelands, obsessed with a meaningless quest for diversity, he told the crowd. The humanities writ large are “transparently ridiculous,” said the onetime philosophy major, and “there’s no real science going on” in the sciences, which have devolved into “the enforcement of very curious dogmas.”

Thiel reprised his longtime critique of “the diversity myth.” He made a plausible point about the ideological monoculture of the DEI industry: “You don’t have real diversity,” he said, with “people who look different but talk and think alike.” Then he made a crack that seemed more revealing.

“Diversity—it’s not enough to just hire the extras from the space-cantina scene in Star Wars,” he said, prompting laughter.

The IDW fascists are coming for the Southern Poverty Law Center again

Elon Musk and Seth Dillon are both stochastic terrorists, and friends of the Intellectual Dark Web, which has been targeting the Southern Poverty Law Center for a long time.

The article they are so mad about is Inside the Beehive:

An SPLC Data Lab investigation of anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-immigrant content on The Babylon Bee and its sister site, Not the Bee, has uncovered multiple controversial businesses formerly run by owner Seth Dillon, along with the identities of 14 pseudonymous Not the Bee writers, despite the website’s efforts to keep information secure.

Pinkerite is 6 years old

The big news of the year of course was that the race pseudoscience candidate Donald Trump is back in power in spite of being a rapist, a traitor and a felon 34 times over. He's ready to destroy American democracy,

I am curious to see Steven Pinker's reaction - last I heard he was not a fan of Trump in spite of so many of his IDW fellow travelers being on the side of fascism - but I can't be bothered to go look on Twitter anymore and see if he tweeted about it. It's such garbage thanks to Musk.

The second biggest news is the banger of an expose on Emil Kirkegaard and his racist machinations from Hope not Hate

And also that the International Society for Intelligence Research (ISIR) let  Kirkegaard participate in its conference this year

I created a database of people mentioned in all ISIR conference programs.

And last November Kirkegaard was in German news for his connection to the German fascist political organization Alternative für Deutschland.

So what else have I talked about in the past year?
The top most-visited individual posts this year:

Conversation with a grifter

Has it only been four years since the sleazy Harpers Letter guy,  Thomas Chatterton Williams blocked me on Twitter?

He's shown up on Bluesky - Tom Scocca immediately blocked him.

I couldn't resist engaging.

The level of Williams' weaseliness is truly breath-taking, he's right up there with Steven Pinker - he even uses Pinker's favorite get-out-of-jail-free card, "guilt by association."

To get some idea of how extremely pro-Trump the gang at Bari Weiss' Free Press is, look no further than their celebration of Trump's win, posted to the Free Press site. Oh and it turns out Brianna Wu is now a right-wing grifting asshole. I guess the price was right.

Curiously Williams has his own page on Free Press, but no articles associated with it. Which I assume means he's on staff, and doesn't need to display articles in order to justify a connection to Free Press.

Meanwhile Williams is claiming to be concerned about the looming Trump dictatorship.

It was clear to me that Williams is not very bright when he was interviewed in the New Yorker by Ian Chotiner. But I'm only now realizing how incredibly shameless Williams is. I don't think I've ever spoken to someone with so little personal integrity.

Razib Khan is also on Bluesky now, but immediately blocked me.

Yes of course the Trump administration is the Intellectual Dark Web administration

Pinker dancing for joy over Trump's
defeat in 2020

-----------------------------------------
Yes, like the Intellectual Dark Web, the Trump administration is chock-full of unqualified morons, racists, grifters and right-wing extremist plutocrats

I made the connection between J. D. Vance and the IDW back in August.

Trump supporters Elon Musk and Peter Thiel are hard-core believers in race pseudoscience - I noted Trump was pushing race pseudoscience during the campaign.

The Conversation, an opinion website funded foremost by religious conservatives, is celebrating this victory of IDW-style racism and fascism über alles in an article by Jamie Q. Roberts.

Roberts, an Australian, is a true believer in the Intellectual Dark Web, working on a forthcoming book about the IDW.

It's obvious that Roberts adores the idiocracy:

Donald Trump had his own celebrities, such as Hulk Hogan, but he was also supported by a group of converted Democrats: Joe Rogan, Tulsi Gabbard, (just chosen as Trump’s director of national intelligence), Robert F. Kennedy Jr (Trump’s pick to head the federal health agency), and Elon Musk, who has been selected to co-lead Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency

Rogan is a self-confessed moron.

Gabbard is also a moron and a Russian asset.

Stephen Colbert recently had some great lines about Gabbard: “Tulsi Gabbard has been named Trump’s nominee for Director of National Intelligence. Now, I... I... I have met this woman. I interviewed Tulsi Gabbard right over there during the 2020 presidential campaign, and I gotta say... uh... when, I think Tulsa Gabbard, the word intelligence is not the first one that comes to mind. Or the second. And, a reminder, a reminder: Gabbard is known for spreading Russian propaganda on fringe, far right sites, which is why Hillary Clinton said Tulsa Gabbard is being groomed by Russia, but only because she’s too old to be groomed by Matt Gaetz.”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is an anti-vaxxer and animal-corpse-abusing kook.

Elon Musk is also a Russian asset and a full-blown corrupt oligarch in the Russian tradition, who needs to be deported back to South Africa.

The best part of the article though is when Roberts links Trump's victory to the IDW grift of Steven Pinker.

While Trump won for many reasons, including immigration and the economy, my sense is that Trump, forever the populist, harnessed a widespread dissatisfaction with a form of identity politics promulgated by a quite often well-paid, white-collar class: psychologist Steven Pinker’s “chattering class.”

Pinker can be seen a month ago worrying about a Trump presidency. While comparing Trump's fascism to "culture wars" and the woke mob.

Pinker's dislike of Trump while loving much of what Trump stands for is likely more evidence of Pinker's intellectual incoherence: he likes to have things both ways, a personality trait which many critics have noticed.

I hope Steven Pinker's devotion to the IDW grift will henceforth be recognized as an important factor in the triumph of fascism over American democracy.

Excellent piece by Stewart Lee in the Guardian

But, one has to ask, if Jenrick’s so worried about sex offenders being on the loose, why is he so pleased that one is now in the White House?

“If I were an American citizen, I would be voting for Donald Trump”, the child-hating sod told GB News’s calcified opinion-vampire Camilla Tominey, Britain’s 49th most influential rightwing figure, in September. It looks like it’s one rule for white working class British rapists and quite another for orange American billionaire sex offenders with their fingers on the nuclear codes. Two-tier Jenrick can do one! Accommodating Donald Trump will invalidate us all.

The fight against race pseudoscience continues

Yes the coming Trump fascist state will be a big boost to right-wing racist filth like Emil Kirkegaard and his neo-Nazi patrons and racist plutocrat scum like Elon Musk and Peter Thiel and Marc Andreessen. And race pseudoscience mainstreamers like Steven Pinker and the International Society for Intelligence Research.

I admit I will get a sick chuckle out of watching the early days of the Trump administration as all the ghouls line up to see who can kiss the Orange Obscenity's ass the most self-servingly and hold competitions to try to bottom each other over who can grovel the most grotesquely.

Does anybody doubt that the second Trump administration is going to be insane?

As Trump's dementia continues to get worse and his actions become more erratic, Musk, Kennedy, Bannon, Don Jr., Vance and many others are going to get into power struggles over who can control Trump to their best advantage.

It will be an absolute shitshow.

Now, more than ever, there must be no tolerance for the intolerant.

Imagine voting for this demented freak

Calling Trump supporters "garbage" is not fair to garbage.

Yes, that is the Republican candidate for president.
But even as Trump’s rhetoric grows darker and more unhinged as election day approaches on Tuesday, and many voters — after nine years of insults and lies — have become numb to it, maybe you still thought Trump crossed a line with his comments about golfing legend Arnold Palmer’s penis.

Well, it turns out the 78-year-old former president and Republican presidential nominee has even more penis comedy material — an impersonation of Linda Lovelace.

Trump, in one of his final rallies on Friday night, simulated sexually stroking and then performing oral sex on his malfunctioning microphone in Milwaukee.
