As I went to some trouble to demonstrate, in my 9-part series What happened to Adam Rutherford? there are many problems with the claims and techniques of behavioral genetics:
What happened to Adam Rutherford? Part 1
What happened to Adam Rutherford? Part 2 - the NHAI and ISIR connections
What happened to Adam Rutherford? Part 3 ~ the nice kind of calipers
What happened to Adam Rutherford? Part 4 ~ the heritability fallacy
What happened to Adam Rutherford? Part 5 ~ racists, evolutionary psychologists and the meritocracy
What happened to Adam Rutherford? Part 6 - racism: you're soaking in it!
What happened to Adam Rutherford? part 7: Abdel Abdellaoui and his racist allies come for me
What happened to Adam Rutherford? Part 8 - the trouble with twin studies
One of the issues discussed in the series is that racists like Emil Kirkegaard (he changed his name to William Engman but still publishes under the name Emil Kirkegaard) uses the very poorly-supported but enthusiastically promoted claims of the behavioral geneticists to make claims about race as we see on his website in an article entitled: Polygenic score validity and group differences. By "group differences" Kirkegaard means race because he and his Neo-Nazi organization "Human Diversity Foundation" are obsessed with race.
And now Kirkegaard has changed the name of Human Diversity Foundation to Polygenic Scores LLC.
The garbage field of behavioral genetics has become the fertilizer for booming pseudoscience enterprises from Kirkegaard's Polygenic Scores LLC to Jonathan Anomaly's PolygenX.
And meanwhile Rutherford and Harden go blithely on, promoting over-confident claims which, intentionally or not, help racists.
