Razib Khan and IDW civility

One of the funniest claims of Bari Weiss, in her infamous article promoting her reactionary, Thiel-friendly (and probably Thiel-funded) friends of the "Intellectual Dark Web" was that they were so civil:

But they all share three distinct qualities. First, they are willing to disagree ferociously, but talk civilly, about nearly every meaningful subject: religion, abortion, immigration, the nature of consciousness.

But many people saw through the grift:

Comments are important. From the comments over the past 8 years of blogging I have learned much. But civility is important, and I enforce that with some zeal.

I've documented many times when members of the IDW gang have been uncivil, so I wasn't surprised to see Razib Khan using "retarded" as an insult. But it's good to document the pure, unashamed hypocrisy.

I assume it's this kind of civility that makes Steven Pinker such a loyal friend and promoter of Razib Khan.
