Rational Wiki censorship-palooza - so many connections to Emil Kirkegaard!

Here are the articles that I am aware of that Rational Wiki has censored.

Charles Murray declaring his financial
support for the neo-Nazi  Emil Kirkegaard
and his (soon to be) employee Bo Winegard, March 2020

-------------------------------------------------

Murray and Claire Lehmann express
an interest in their RW articles, May 2025

---------------------------------------------------
Some articles were deleted because of SLAPP lawsuits instigated by Jonathan Anomaly, Noah Carl, Michael A. Woodley of Menie, Russell T. Warne, Jan te Nijenhuis, Jonatan Pallesen and James Thompson.

But a whole bunch of other articles were removed without reference to a public lawsuit.

All of the yanked articles have a connection to Emil Kirkegaard, the center of an international Neo-Nazi, racist, eugenics network.

It looks to me like Kirkegaard (aka William Engman) is taking care of all his allies, supporters and employees in an effort to avoid public scrutiny for various race pseudoscience and far-right political statements and activities.

I will be updating this list as needed.

  • Aporia Magazine - the neo-Nazi magazine hosted by fascist Marc Andreessen-supported Substack and is funded by Emil Kirkegaard
  • Charles Murray - I will be reposting most of the contents of the article on Pinkerite since I was the main contributor - Murray has donated money to Emil KirkegaardCharles Murray is a famous public figure and the article was well-sourced and its removal would never have prevailed in a court of law. There is no doubt this was yanked out of pure, financial-threat SLAPP thuggery.
  • Emil Kirkegaard - probably behind the SLAPP suits and the secret deal, since all the known litigants and deleted articles have a connection to Kirkegaard and/or his organizations Aporia and Human Diversity Foundation and their subsidiaries.
  • Emily Willoughby Talk Archive - I didn't need any more convincing that Willoughby is part of Kirkegaard's network - after all,  she's a board member of the International Society for Intelligence Research. The deleted page mentions Willoughby's connection to Kirkegaard. Her main page was deleted a while ago, but you can still find the entry for Emily Willoughby on Archive Today.
  • Human Varieties - described as an HBD (Human bio-diversity, a racist concept) website. Mentions John Fuerst.
But what's up with Claire Lehmann? In the tweet I posted above, she's asking "TracingWoodgrains" (who has a Substack account that claims racist extremist Curtis Yarvin's "...framework is more relevant than ever") to check and see if her RW article was deleted. Even I didn't think Claire Lehmann was so stupid she couldn't figure out how to find her own article on Rational Wiki. Maybe she figures TracingWoodgrains knows who is on the deletion list for articles that haven't yet been deleted.

I thought that Lehmann and Kirkegaard were good buddies who go way back. How did Lehmann get left off the list? I've copied her archive link, just in case.

Based on the Rational Wiki removal log, it looks like censorship-palooza got started on May 8, starting with Lipton Matthews, then Anatoly Karlin, then Human Diversity Foundation... see for yourself below. (RMF) indicates the article was yanked by order of Rational Media Foundation, instead of going through the usual voting process.

That was a week ago, but the censorship-palooza festivities have continued right through today, with the articles for John Fuerst, Human Varieties and Asbiro University all being yanked. We'll see if anything is yanked tomorrow. I'm betting right now anything that is yanked by order of RMF in the near future will be connected to Emil Kirkegaard, one way or the other.

No matter how secret this deal is, I am confident that the truth about all this censorship will come out one day.

A former neo-Nazi defects from Emil Kirkegaard's neo-Nazi network

Could Erik Ahrens be the Hanfstaengl of the neo-Nazi movement?

Ahrens has published YouTube content critical of both Emil Kirkegaard and the International Society for Intelligence Research.

Ahrens was the main connection between Kirkegaard's Human Diversity Foundation and Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) "often seen as chauvinistic, right-wing-populist, nationalistic, populist, right-wing, extremist, radical-right, or simply as Germany’s new Nazi party.

According to the HOPE not Hate profile of the Human Diversity Foundation (now officially called "Polygenic Scores LLC) :

HDF has also enlisted Erik Ahrens, an Alternative für Deutschland communications worker, to expand its stable of influencers. With Frost, he has created an audiobook app called Liegent, which summarises texts by Charles Murray, Alain de Benoist, and Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber. The aim is to give far-right content creators an advertising partner, providing them with an additional source of revenue. In return, HDF expects an element of control of their editorial output. Ahrens, who has launched a similar scheme in Germany, calls the scheme “economics as coercion”. Edward Dutton and Thomas Rowsell (AKA Survive The Jive) have promoted Liegent adverts.

Last year the Irish Times published an article about Ahrens titled: The guru showing Alternative for Germany how to use social media to win votes and influence young people.

Ahrens has apparently had a change of heart since then, and is now opposed to race pseudoscience, homophobia and neo-Nazism.

So Ahrens published a video to his YouTube channel called Black people are NOT less intelligent. The "World IQ Map" is a fraud (PROOF) in which he argues against a race pseudoscience artifact promoted by Kirkegaard and his network.

The World IQ Map is the usual Richard Lynn bullshit, the obvious slop of motivated reasoning and plain old racism, but it's good to have a former Kirkegaard associate say so.

The video is recorded in German, but provides an English-language auto-dub, which is not perfect, sometimes translating Kirkegaard's name as "Emil Kirkard" or "Meal Kirkegaard." Also the English translation auto-dub censors naughty words, so that the auto-dub voice says in English "when I was still pretty deep into all this Nazi." But even I know enough German to recognize that in the German captions he says "Nazischeiße' - or "when I was still pretty deep into all this Nazi shit."

Ahrens says he lived with Kirkegaard in Spain for a few months. He shows photos and a video clip of himself with Kirkegaard. He says "we often drank alcohol together" and that once when Kirkegaard was drunk he said he planned to do a new IQ study in which he would prove his racist beliefs. So I guess Kirkegaard does not have confidence that the Lynn World IQ Map sufficiently makes the racist case.

Ahrens points out that Kirkegaard claims to already know the results of his study even before performing the study. But of course he does. That's how sociobiology/evolutionary psychology/behavioral genetics/eugenics/biosocial criminology/hereditarianism work - in my series on Adam Rutherford and the paper he co-authored that cites racists/hereditarians, I discussed Sam Harris giving the game away.

Ahrens says that Kirkegaard is "a leading figure or the leading figure in this international race and IQ research." Ahrens notes that Kirkegaard is not a data scientist or geneticist but rather has a bachelor's degree in linguistics. Also Kirkegaard has declared outright multiple times to Ahrens that he, Kirkegaard is a racist and hates Black people and "all his studies reflect that."

I mean, that's a pretty obvious fact about Emil Kirkegaard, but it's good to have this personal testimonial to confirm it.

Next Ahrens discusses Kirkegaard's Human Diversity Foundation and the London Conference on Intelligence which no longer takes place in London - probably due to all the negative publicity it generated for ghouls like Toby Young - but now takes place in eastern Europe.

Ahrens claims the conference took place at the Brody House in Budapest, August 16 - 18, 2024. Then Ahrens displays what he says is the time-table for the conference. Ahrens remarks: "professors and more or less well-known intellectuals from all over the world who of course travel there secretly so they don't get cancelled, and then they spread their basically racist theories together and present their pseudoscience to each other."

Next Ahrens discusses the 2022 annual meeting of the International Society for Intelligence Research (ISIR) in Vienna, saying:

...I was also in Vienna for another conference, again with Emil in tow. To be precise, the International Society of Intelligence Research conference in Vienna and Emil Kirkegaard was originally invited there but then disinvited. He came anyway and a secret meeting took place after the conference, where many of those present, including those you can see in this video including Professor Heiner Rindermann from TU Chemnitz, listened to a racist lecture from Emil Kirkegaard.

The Ahrens video shows silent video clips of race pseudoscience promoters, some I unfortunately know on sight by now, including Jonathan Anomaly (real name Jonathan Beres) and Gregory Clark

Ahrens claims that Jonathan Anomaly
attended Emil Kirkegaard's "secret lecture"
------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahrens claims that Gregory Clark
attended Emil Kirkegaard's "secret lecture"
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Then Ahrens shows what looks like a clip from an official ISIR video listing Anomaly, Clark, Helmuth Nyborg, Jordan Lasker (aka "Cremiux), Anna-Lena Schubert, Camille Williams, Tobias Wolfram, Paulina Plinke and Andreas Demitriou.

ISIR board member Emily Willoughby denied that she had anything to do with a private meeting but does not deny it took place, in the comments section of a blog post defending her by race pseudoscience ghoul Jerry Coyne.

It was understandable to be suspicious of Willoughby since she has a history of friendly communications with race pseudoscience freaks like "HBD Chick" and, yes, Emil Kirkegaard. And her long history of promoting the trashiest of race pseudoscience under the nom de Nazi "Ferahgo the Assassin" can be seen in Wikipedia archives. Twitter user Magnus Pharo testified to Willoughby's connection to Kirkegaard in 2022.

Kirkegaard has not responded yet, as far as I can tell, to the Ahrens video in spite of someone asking him to in the comments section of a blog post in which Kirkegaard practices the antique pseudoscience of physiognomy

Racist Substack Aporia whines about Rational Wiki

A who's who of professional racists in two tweets.
______________________________________________
Aporia, the nest of extremist rightwing racists, harbored at techno-fascist Marc Andreessen-funded Substack has lately been whining about Rational Wiki
The whining was even more unintentionally funny and ironic because it occurred in an unsigned editorial:
...the mostly pseudonymous team running the RatWiki organization, the organization that owns and runs the website. It works on the standard Wikipedia format, where they let anyone edit, at least in theory. This community-sourced material status gives them a kind of legal liability cop-out for the material they host, in the same way that YouTube isn't responsible for the comments people post.
Meanwhile, the Substack toadies who work for Andreessen claim they can't be responsible for the racism spewed by Aporia and other hate-accounts on Substack.

How Kirkegaard spends his
time on the shit-hole site Twitter/X
You can see why those serious scholars
at Aporia would want to align
themselves with him.

It seems that those very serious scholars at Aporia are in league, big time, with that freak Emil Kirkegaard, and have taken his personal grievances on as one of their causes, along with the usual causes of racism and Neo-Nazism.

They decided to financially support Kirkegaard: This short film is possible thanks to our paid Substack supporters.

The "film" in question, which Aporia is promoting on Twitter/X under the banner "ANTIFA WATCH," is four minutes of Kirkegaard walking along a beach whining about how true facts about him are known thanks to Rational Wiki.

Somehow Kirkegaard connects Rational Wiki to the guy he owes money to, even though that guy is no longer affiliated with Rational Wiki. And Kirkegaard knows this because it said so in the pro-Kirkegaard article published pseudonymously a year ago by the ghouls at City Journal /Manhattan Institute which was later retracted when the target of the article (really, a smear campaign) - the same guy Kirkegaard owes money to - sued

Kirkegaard is very much devoted to avoiding paying his court-ordered debt, so much so he was apparently being sheltered by German Neo-Nazis - the very worst kind of Neo-Nazis - at Das Landhaus Adlon. Lately it turns out that Kirkegaard is doing business in Wyoming.

So on behalf of Emil Kirkegaard's personal grievances, those geniuses at Aporia are falsely promoting Rational Wiki as some kind of "Antifa" organization, which makes me suspect that some of the ghouls at Aporia are working for the Trump campaign - promotion of Antifa as some powerful organized operation was one of the tactics of the Trump campaign in 2020, aided by Andy Ngo, who would likely know at least one Aporia ghoul, Bo Winegard, since both worked for Quillette around the same time. Last August, Ngo lost his own lawsuit against "Antifa."

It's absurd that Kirkegaard believes the only way anybody would form a bad opinion of him is through Rational Wiki. A couple of years ago he was in the news when he embarrassed the respectable racists at the International Society for Intelligence Research when Abdel Abdellaoui very publicly refused to attend its 2022 racist rodeo if Kirkegaard was going to speak there - as Kirkegaard had done other years. Speaking of the racist rodeo, I will be writing about ISIR's upcoming 2024 conference soon.

And Stewart Lee, much better known than Kirkegaard or the guy Kirkegaard owes money to, referred to Kirkegaard in the British press as "a weird far-right paedophilia apologist called Emil."

And by raging against Rational Wiki, Kirkegaard and his gang at Aporia are only helping to raise its ranking in Google results. Rational Wiki already has a response to the Kirkegaard video.

As you can see in the screen image posted above, professional racist Steve Sailer - who was once heavily promoted by Steven Pinker - jumped on the Aporia tweet to join in the whining about Rational Wiki. It's no wonder Sailer is bitter, the Rational Wiki profile of Steve Sailer includes one of the most perfect observations about Sailer I have ever seen:
Think of him as a dead cat under the floorboards of the internet: worthless, repulsive and raising an unholy stench. But, sadly, also very difficult to get rid of.
The same could be said for Kirkegaard, Winegard and all the grifters, goons and ghouls who administer, edit, write for, financially support and platform Aporia.

Speaking of racemonger Emil Kirkegaard

I just mentioned yesterday that I learned of the Ron Unz-Gregory Cochran feud via racemonger Emil Kirkegaard, who writes for the white supremacist Mankind Quarterly

Charles Murray is a fan of his work, of course.

And apparently Andrew Sullivan is also a fan of Kirkegaard.

Is this why the Orwellian-named "Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism" asked Sullivan to be a member of its board of advisors?

Today we'll talk about Kirkegaard v Smith and what a legal loser Kirkegaard is.

Kirkegaard sued Oliver Smith for defamation for posting comments Kirkegaard didn't like:

Kirkegaard is suing me for four comments I wrote in January and February 2018 (one on my Twitter, three on The Unz Review) and he also wants an injunction so I don’t repeat them.

That was in December 2018.

A year later Smith reported on the preliminary judgement in his favor:

To summarise the outcome – the judge has ruled in my favour the comments I wrote are expressions of opinion and agreed with me their real meanings are not what the Claimant erroneously pleaded. I’m happy with the judge’s ruling; the same cannot be said for the Claimant, who despite antagonising me online up to the date of the judgment – is suddenly silent, having to come to terms with not only losing, but humiliatingly paying a substantial amount of my costs.

Kirkegaard is now in contempt of court, and Smith tweeted about it the other day:

Some fun facts about Kirkegaard via Rational Wiki:

Kirkegaard identifies as a proponent of HBD,[211] i.e. racialism and has described himself as a "race realist",[212] a term coined by J. Philippe RushtonWikipedia that is adopted by white nationalists like David Duke. His website contains posts on race and eugenics.[213][214][215] Against the scientific consensus that race is not an accurate way to describe or analyse human biological variation, Kirkegaard erroneously argues human races are valid biological constructs (as "genetic clusters") and makes PRATTs such as quoting Lewontin's Fallacy:

I think one can just read the various existing defenses of race realism if one is curious. The page you link to is well-sourced but an exercise in semantics and irrelevance. E.g. section Genetic evidence: Race does not predict human variation well presents results irrelevant to the title, it is well accepted that most variation is within the major racial groups. It does not follow from this that the between group variation is unimportant. Indeed, even very small differences can make a large difference, as people with mutations in e.g. SRY can report. It does not matter so much to me whether these groups are called races, genetic clusters, biogeographical ancestry or whatever (the most common euphemism in medical genetics).[216]

Kirkegaard doesn't just argue for human races, but maintains there is a racial hierarchy with different "tiers" of races based on average intelligence, for example he considers Indians to be a "lower tier".[217] He argues mean group differences in intelligence is mostly the result of genetic factors, for example writing "The hereditarian hypothesis is almost certainly true.[218] In fact, he has gone as far as arguing "100% genetic for the USA black white gap".[219] Nonsurprisingly, no peer-reviewed science journals would publish this pseudoscience and so Kirkegaard was left submitting a paper to the Mankind Quarterly.[220] On his website, Kirkegaard recommends outdated racialist literature such as John Baker's Race (1974) and in 2015 positively reviewed the far-right Metapedia article on race and intelligence.[221][222] He alleges a left-wing bias in academia that downplays heritability of race and IQ.[223]

Kirkegaard is permanently blocked from editing Wikipedia,[224] having misused the wiki to spread his racist nonsense. He has since whined about Wikipedia deleting his pseudoscientific writings on race.[225]

Emil Kirkegaard, welcomed back to the International Society for Intelligence Research - after only two years

It seems that Emil Kirkegaard is not only visiting the International Society for Intelligence Research (ISIR) conference in Zurich this year, he gave a presentation, "Imputing intelligence data into existing datasets using the MMPI." He claimed to be representing the "Arthur Jensen Institute."

The evidence of Kirkegaard's participation was originally posted by RiotIQ in a tweet.

But then the tweet was deleted. Fortunately the evidence remains.

Here is the archived tweet, and here is the photo from the original tweet, below.

Two weeks before the ISIR conference, the preliminary speaker program was shared with the speakers. I noticed that one of the scheduled speakers was a notorious (Abdellaoui provides a link to the Rational Wiki article about Kirkegaard) individual, known for an unhealthy obsession for trying to prove that race differences in IQ and other social traits were due to inborn and immutable genetic differences. Besides a reputation for sloppy scientific work in dubious journals, he was also well known for an obnoxious social media presence, regularly posting messages and memes denigrating a wide range of marginalized groups. This behavior has garnered him a large following of, largely anonymous, online fans. He is a leading figure and major contributor to the bad reputation of intelligence and genetics research. On top of this reputation, this individual has never been part of any credible research program, PhD program, or university, which made it all the more surprising to me that he was invited to speak at the same academic conference as me. I decided to publicly cancel my talk, as I did not want to be associated with this individual.

My theory is that Kirkegaard got an assist from Emily Willoughby a member of the ISIR board

Last year Willoughby, along with another ISIR affiliate James Lee received a half-million dollars from the "Institute of Mental Chronometry." The institute, closely aligned with the ISIR, was founded by Arthur Jensen and the ISIR itself is basically a continuation of Jensenism. The Institute of Mental Chronometry could be called the "Arthur Jensen Institute" since that's essentially what it is.

As recently as May of this year, Willoughby was listed as affiliated with the University of Minnesota, but her page is empty now. But who needs a real job when the ISIR is your sugar daddy?

Willoughby has been quite chummy with Emil Kirkegaard on Twitter over the years.

But what about this mysterious "Arthur Jensen Institute" that Kirkegaard claims affiliation with?

He doesn't mention the name on any of his online media. Not on Substack, nor his Twitter profile, nor his personal domain site, nor his Google scholar page, nor on Research Gate, nor on Scopus nor on the ISIR's journal "Intelligence" where Kirkegaard has published several times. And it's not mentioned on Kirkegaard's Arthur Robert Jensen memorial site.

It is mentioned in his Open Psych website profile page. But the link doesn't go to a website for the Arthur Jensen Foundation, it just goes to another list of papers.

Kirkegaard was also in the news recently for his business affairs: White Supremacist Who Wants Legal Child Porn Doing Business Through Wyoming LLC.

In short, Emil Kirkegaard is a perfect match for the racist ghoul organization International Society for Race Pseudoscience Intelligence Research.

Charles Murray and Emil O. W. Kirkegaard

The paper can be found here.

Kirkegaard gets a mention at the Southern Poverty Law Center:
Emil Kirkegaard, who edits (Wikipedia) frequently under the username Deleet, is a research fellow at Richard Lynn’s Ulster Institute for Social research and the co-founder of the online pseudojournal OpenPsych.
Although according to RationalWiki:
He is permanently blocked from editing Wikipedia,[21] having misused the wiki to spread his racist nonsense. He has since whined about Wikipedia deleting his pseudoscientific writings on race.[22]
Kirkegaard gets his own profile on RationalWiki which notes:
As well as running Openpsych, Kirkegaard is the current domain owner of Mankind Quarterly, a white supremacist journal.[23][24]
Kirkegaard is also an author in Mankind Quarterly, listed as the author or co-author of fourteen articles, although some with the most interesting titles like Race Differences, a Very Brief View returned a 404 error. Although those articles that were available only provide an abstract without logging in to see the entire PDF. And I'm not about to pay $68 for a membership to Mankind Quarterly.

I confess I didn't read the Kirkegaard paper promoted by Murray past the abstract because the abstract makes clear that it is a standard specimen of race "science" -
Our sample (k = 16) comprised 84,897 Whites, 37,160 Blacks, and 17,678 Hispanics residing in the United States. We found that White, Black, and Hispanic heritabilities were consistently moderate to high, and that these heritabilities did not differ across groups. At least in the United States, Race/Ethnicity × Heritability interactions likely do not exist.
As I have mentioned many times, the term "Hispanic" has little to do with ancestry. Kirkegaard & co. appear to try to handle that by using the term "race/ethnicity" which is typical of the imprecision of race science. The term Hispanic refers to language. Anthropologist Maxine Margolis (I will have her interview online here ASAP) who specializes in Brazilian culture, mentioned to me that Brazilians don't consider themselves Hispanic because they speak Portuguese. But of course based on US demographic categories they would be counted as Hispanic or Latino, terms that are used interchangeably in practice.

If the Kirkegaard paper tells us anything it tells us about people grouped by United States demographic categories. In other words, politics, not science.

Notice that in his tweet Murray states: "...until we have large genomic databases from the principle populations."

But genetic testing services like 23andMe and other commercial enterprises already are building up genomic databases, and the response of race science to the information discovered by all that genomic testing is to ignore it because it is not what race science wants to hear, as discussed in the NYTimes by Carl Zimmer:
On average, the scientists found, people who identified as African-American had genes that were only 73.2 percent African. European genes accounted for 24 percent of their DNA, while .8 percent came from Native Americans.
Latinos, on the other hand, had genes that were on average 65.1 percent European, 18 percent Native American, and 6.2 percent African...
In spite of Murray's expression of interest in "large genomic databases" I think it's unlikely that race science will ever bother with testing subjects for genetic ancestry because it would be exponentially more work than the typical race science "study" and as we know:

race science is lazy

Fun fact, Kirkegaard linked to Pinkerite back in November:
People keep asking me about the state of the art re. evidence for physiognomy, so here’s a brief review.
Phrenology used to be considered legit, and then eventually people realized it was all bogus. Since then, it is usually brought up an example of how science goes wrong in terms of stereotyping, and references to it are used to attack people who don’t agree with Aristotle that the brain is mainly used to cool blood — which is to say, to attack people who study brain size, shape etc. and relate this to differences in human psychology, chiefly intelligence. Some examples of such attacks can be seen here, here and here.
The link is to Yes, Kevin Drum, Quillette is defending phrenology and the main focus of the article is described in the title.

Kirkegaard suggests that critics of hereditarianism believe that "the brain is mainly used to cool blood" and this is funny because it is race science which harkens back to previous centuries for its foundation, including phrenology.

Kirkegaard has of course blocked Pinkerite on Twitter because race science proponents' cowardice is second only to their laziness.

Another fun fact: according to the RationalWiki entry on Kirkegaard:
Kirkegaard was born in Denmark in 1989,[26] but in 2018 moved to the US. A pseudointellectual he has described himself as a "polymath", "scientist", "geneticist", "philosopher" and "psychologist",[27][28] when he isn't any of these things and his only qualification is a BA Linguistics from Aarhus University. In 2019, Kirkegaard moved back to Denmark.[29]
At the present time, Kirkegaard describes himself on his blog as "Scientist etc."

Thanks for reading, Emil O. W. Kirkegaard - are you still hiding out from the law at Das Landhaus Adlon?

Apparently racist weirdo Emil O. W. Kirkegaard hate-reads Pinkerite, as I discovered today.

He included a screen cap of my previous post on his own website, but of course did not include a link to my site because he's a chickenshit loser.

It's so good to know that my website has the ability to annoy a Nazi POS, even a little.

Kirkegaard is mad at me and Oliver Smith because back in 2016 racist crackpot Richard Lynn told Kirkegaard that he could say he's affiliated with The Ulster Institute for Social Research, which Kirkegaard continued to do until at least September 2023, but Smith told me, with evidence, that very recently the Ulster Institute says Kirkegaard is NOT affiliated. And I found Smith's evidence credible.

Hey Kirkegaard, if there's confusion over your affiliation, the source of the problem is at the Ulster Institute. Here's a thought - contact them and get them to send you a letter explaining what happened some time between 2016 and 2024, to cause your disaffiliation, and then share it publicly.

Unless of course you are lying - and you already knew Ulster Institute no longer considered you affiliated but you kept on making the claim anyway, because contrary to your phony insouciance, an affiliation with the Ulster Institute does mean something.  It makes it look like you have a bona fide institutional affiliation, which might impress someone who does not know anything about the Ulster Institute.

I'll bet that's how Kirkegaard got invitations to the International Society for Intelligence Research until Abdel Abdellaoui blew the whistle on him for having no credentials.

You have to laugh at Kirkegaard's reply to his rightwing ghoul friends like "Based Psychologist" concerning the fact that the Manhattan Institute settled out of court over its defamatory article.  Kirkegaard downplays the fact that the Manhattan Institute recognized it had no legal grounds to stand on, and would be publicly embarrassed by the story in the media (not to mention the potential reputational risk of being associated with Kirkegaard) if they went to court, which is no doubt why they settled.

In my post I speculated that the Manhattan article was published at the behest of Kirkegaard. Even though he posted a screen cap of my saying this, I notice Kirkegaard does not deny it.

It's also funny that Kirkegaard complains that Smith is "causing trouble" when Kirkegaard has devoted his life to promoting racism and in addition, avoids paying his legal bills by taking refuge with Nazis

Perjurer & racist Emil O W Kirkegaard comes for me

Recently I got a heads-up from someone on Twitter that Emil O W Kirkegaard was lying about me - on the same issue that Razib Khan lied about me - some anonymous rando Twitter account. I caught Razib Khan promoting that lie a couple of weeks ago.

Kirkegaard appears to have a team of anonymous Twitter randos who attack on his behalf. In the image above a rando named "Trevor Sutcliffe" provides his crackpot theory on how I was involved in the anonymous Twitter account. Then Kirkegaard encourages him to write up his "findings" which Kirkegaard can then share.

It was no surprise that Kirkegaard calls me a "catlady" - misogyny usually goes along with racism.

Emil Kirkegaard is such a big liar, he even committed perjury, as documented by Oliver Smith in his court case with Kirkegaarrd:

Emil Kirkegaard committed perjury

Kirkegaard is not only in contempt of court for breaching costs order(s) but lying to the High Court were he lives (he committed perjury by falsely claiming he lives at a different address and seems to have given a dubious description of his employment). I raised this with my solicitor, only to learn Kirkegaard’s own solicitor dropped him; not a surprise, given his bad conduct and dishonesty. In the last few months of litigation – Kirkegaard was pro se and he refused to respond to any emails (sent by my solicitor and the court). Kirkegaard’s alma mater also criticised him for making untrue claims about himself, so he has a history of lying (even his colleagues have described him “extremely dishonest”).

Emil Kirkegaard, who edits frequently under the username Deleet, is a research fellow at Richard Lynn’s Ulster Institute for Social research and the co-founder of the online pseudojournal OpenPsych.
Meanwhile, Encyclopedia Dramatica accuses Kirkegaard of defending pedophilia.

Three more race pseudoscience ghouls SLAPP Rational Wiki

More than ever it looks like there is a coordinated campaign to harass the Rational Media Foundation, the parent organization of Rational Wiki with SLAPP suits, before it moves from New Mexico to Oregon, a less SLAPP-happy state.

Also - surprise surprise, Jesse Singal is in the mix. He gets so much credit for his anti-trans work that his support for race pseudoscience promoters has been sadly overlooked.

There are now five plaintiffs against Rational Wiki. Four of them are mad because there are articles about them on Rational Wiki that discuss their race pseudoscience activities and alliances.

All five of them have a connection to Emil Kirkegaard who owns the Human Diversity Foundation (HDF).

Per the case file on HDF by UK organization Hope not Hate, the Human Diversity Foundation (my highlights):
...advances race science. It is the successor to the Pioneer Fund, an American eugenics organisation created in 1937 that developed ties to Nazi Germany and disseminated its propaganda. Registered in Wyoming for privacy reasons, HDF is led by Emil Kirkegaard, a Danish race scientist, and Matthew Frost, a former religious studies teacher from the UK.

Kirkegaard and Frost separately manage the two main arms of HDF. The first is an underground research team that publishes articles in OpenPsych and Mankind Quarterly, both race science journals. Kirkegaard’s team consists of approximately a dozen authors, one of whom is Davide Piffer, an Italian race scientist who referred to African immigrants as “gorillas” and had his paper cited in the manifesto of the 2022 Buffalo terrorist who killed 10 people.

The second arm of HDF aims to reach a larger audience through its media outreach. It includes Aporia Magazine, a race science publication that Frost founded...

But I think the most incisive quote about HDF, found in the Hope not Hate article Race Science Inc is this:

    • HDF is working to create a cult of weapons-trained activists inspired by Scientology and the Nazi SS
That tells you everything you need to know about Emil Kirkegaard and all the people who fund him and who work for him.
Four of the Rational Wiki plaintiffs have collegial relationships with Kirkegaard, while the fifth plaintiff has had an adversarial relationship with Kirkegaard. I won't be focusing on that plaintiff, although I think his lawsuit has no more merit than the other four.

But it's still striking that all five plaintiffs (so far) have connections to Emil Kirkegaard.

Another thing they all have in common (except the fifth plaintiff with the adversarial relationship to Kirkegaard) is that they have all participated in conferences of the International Society for Intelligence Research (ISIR), including Kirkegaard, who was at the most recent conference in 2024. And David Piffer, mentioned in the quote from the Hope not Hate website above, has also participated, in the 2017 ISIR conference.

Let's break down the Kirkegard/ISIR connections of the four race pseudoscience plaintiffs:
In October 2023, the Conservative MP Neil O’Brien shared an Aporia article on his own Substack. Headlined “The West’s Fertility Crisis”, it was written by Russell T. Warne, an American author whose work has appeared in the pages of Mankind Quarterly. After O’Brien recommended that his online followers read the article, Matthew Frost texted our undercover reporter an image of a dark hand manipulating a marionette. O’Brien did not respond to a request for comment.

Aporia and Mankind Quarterly are both published by Kirkegaard. I've mentioned Warne a few times over the years on this blog, including that he's written for Quillette. In addition to the 2024 ISIR conference, Warne has participated in the 2017, 2018, and 2019 ISIR conferences. Warne v. Rationalwiki Foundation, Inc. et al

He was also cited, among other academic references, in a manifesto written by the teenager motivated by racist views who killed 10 Black people at a supermarket in Buffalo last month.

Despite his own extreme views, the researcher, Michael Woodley — a 38-year-old British man — has been affiliated with Vrije Universiteit Brussel, one of Belgium’s leading universities, and his controversial work was originally undertaken as he studied at some of the world’s most prestigious academic institutions.

The discovery that the gunman had cited Mr. Woodley’s work shocked many academics, who said they hoped it might now force institutions to confront questions about their responsibility toward society, academic rigor and the space they give to extremist ideas.

Woodley of Menie's connection to Kirkegaard is through his association with OpenPsych, published by HDF. Woodley has participated in twelve ISIR conferences, and been published many times by the ISIR-related Intelligence and at one time was a member of the editorial board of  IntelligenceWoodley of Menie v. Rationalwiki Foundation, Inc. (1:25-cv-00296)

Given the connection between the four pseudoscience plaintiffs and International Society for Intelligence Research, it's possible that this maybe-coordinated SLAPP attack on Rational Wiki is being funded by the Institute of Mental Chronometry which has not only provided funding for the ISIR, but has given half a million dollars to two academics who are also affiliated with ISIR, Emily Willoughby and James J. Lee. The Rational Wiki article on Willoughby was recently removed, although I disagree with that decision.

So ISIR/Institute of Mental Chronometry could probably afford to fund the lawsuits and I absolutely would not put it past them.

But my main suspect is the Human Diversity Foundation. But at this point, is there really much difference between the Human Diversity Foundation and the International Society for Intelligence Research? There is so much cross-over between the people and the racist beliefs of the two organizations, why would they not coordinate to try to make race pseudoscience respectable by crushing Rational Wiki?

In the article which City Journal was forced to remove from its site because of a defamation lawsuit, and most likely written at the behest of Emil Kirkegaard, it is claimed that Jonathan Anomaly, Jan te NijenhuisEmil Kirkegaard and Emily Willoughby, among others, were harmed by Rational Wiki because of an editor named Oliver Smith - who stopped editing at Rational Wiki in 2019.

I see Jesse Singal was showing his support for team race pseudoscience on X/Twitter a couple of months ago, by promoting that defamatory attack and smearing Rational Wiki in the process.  Rational Wiki debunked the article's claims, which the shit "journalist" Singal couldn't be bothered to research - probably because he hates Rational Wiki, comparing it unfavorably to the psychopathic Kiwi Farms on his podcast.

Singal is so devoted to race pseudoscience promoters he will block those who question his alliance with the indisputably racist Razib Khan, who of course has worked for Emil Kirkegaard.  And yes, Khan has participated in an ISIR conference too, in 2019.

Khan can be seen below at racist Curtis Yarvin's wedding.
